solo guitar song lesson (walkin’ blues) - 2/2 is ok , but

[..YouTube..] YT doesn’t let us change a video, we’d have to delete the old one and re-add it, which would lose all the comments and views, as well as taking a lot of our time since the YT tabs are larger than the originals because of YT’s low video quality.

Try updating your Flash viewer which is what YT uses to display video, it may be out of date.

[..YouTube..] Try downloading the lastest Flash Player, version 9,0,115,0 - that is the software your computer uses to play YouTube videos. Just do a search for “Flash Player download” to locate.

If we were to re-upload the video file I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t help. You’re the 2nd person who’s had trouble playing this video, so maybe it’s a quirk with an older version of Adobe’s software.

[..YouTube..] I have problems as well on a PC, but I can play it on my Mac. I sent a support request to YouTube/Google. Hopefully it will be fixed in a couple days.

[..YouTube..] A little more research shows I’m able to play this video occasionally using the Tor anonymizer with Firefox. Tor uses different proxy servers to connect to sites, and YT apparently has different servers that provide the video streams. YT must have a problem with this video on at least one, but not all, of its servers.

[..YouTube..] Per YT’s recommendation, I am now able to play this after having emptied my browser cache and deleting all my cookies.

I don’t know if that’s what fixed it as I also sent a support request to Google, and maybe they fixed something.

[..YouTube..] Try clearing out your browswer cache, and then deleting cookies (at least the Youtube cookie). I just did that and it now plays after not having played previously.

I have no idea why this particular video seems to have recurring problems. Maybe some computer guy can chime in.
