  5. [..YouTube..] I need to get an electric guitar, I have an acoustic but the strings are really hard to manipulate, plus there’s a horn near the 16th fret that stops me from reaching past the 17th fret. It kinda sucks >.>

  20. [..YouTube..] I like to bend strings and vibrato strings with as many fingers as possible. Better accuracy and strength with more fingers. Plus you can really work the notes. rock on!

They may actually be out of the key in which you are playing and may sound aweful if you stop on them. They may sound good but they are brief and then you quickly go on to a note that is actually in the key.

Try working on chromatic scales (every note, every half step) up and back to work on laying the fingers down and pulling them up and getting a clean sound each time. Relax your fingers and try to keep the stress in your wrist down. You don’t want to be tense or using muscles that should not be involved. You will wear yourself out and get frustrated. Make sure you warm up with some really simple stuff.

[..YouTube..] @jackcarpentersax I thought passing tones were like ladders to the note you ultimatly were aimimg for .Instead of hitting 5 or 6 precise notes< You hit the next note in the scale on the way up or down . [always in key] Know what I mean? Before I learned riffs note for note. I did that all the time.. I mean it still sounds good and you ARE filling space in the song.
