I play the last section using G and and G# on the other D string(5th & 6th frets) and I slide section two’s last four notes using: ring-middle(slide)middle-index.great job bro, 4/4
(acept the interlude is in 2/4, I hope you got that pun).

(not you, the person who said this is 100% correct) I have the tab book. it is 10-9 pull off on the g-string and then a 10-9 pull off on the b-string. get it right. although you can play whatever you find easier. oh yeah, the interlude isn’t in 2/4. its a transition time signature. 2/4 for one measure and then back to 4/4. that was a horrible pun.

[..YouTube..] for some reason when I watched a couple videos of willie and mark playing this song mark will play those notes on the G and B string and Willie will play them all on the G string. they don’t play it one way or the other, they both play it their own way. they’ve done this every time i’ve seen them play it.

[..YouTube..] it’s my picking that makes the palm mutes all messy. I didn’t perform it too well in this vid. those chuggy bits are hard to get proper clean, it always seems easy and perfect in practice, but then under the scrutiny of a recording all the mistakes show!
