[..YouTube..] great! i like this song. it’s so inspirational that i got motivated to play my guitar again. i’m still a beginner and i’m going to learn this one.thanks
[..YouTube..] great! i like this song. it’s so inspirational that i got motivated to play my guitar again. i’m still a beginner and i’m going to learn this one.thanks
[..YouTube..] I don’t play guitar, but I just picked up an old acoustic, ran a mic into my computer to tune it in (I do play computers heh), found this tutorial - which is far better than all the others, now after about an hour I can play the verse’s (slow) love it, great work, can’t wait to get the whole thing nailed
[..YouTube..] Not sure I have the finger picking down correct…is it:
G 1-546, 2-546
Am 2-546, 2-546
C 2-546, 2-546
Thanks for the Vid, like the concept
[..YouTube..] Chet Atkins did an example of three cords and how you can play most popular songs knowing these! Great concept, to get over the hump and start having some fun as soon as you learn three cords lord knows how hard the first few are! your good at explaining what you are doing and slowing it down helps! Peace to you and yours! keep on rockin!
[..YouTube..] u have a kinda thick accent but yet u still sung really really good ,like not that an accent is bad but tryin to not sing with it is hard good video too
[..YouTube..] Thanks for all your help Mojo! This one was great, as I’m a big fan of songs that are lyrical and use finger picking. You’ve been my favorite guide since I picked up the guitar 6 months ago(back when changing chords was a finger at a time). I’ll be on your site soon enough.
[..YouTube..] I am a beginner and the hardest thing for me in strumming is learning when to strum down or up or change it. What is the best way to learn that or is it learned by ear?
[..YouTube..] The hardest thing for me to learn in songs is when to strum up and down or half strum. What is the best way to learn this. Is it by ear? when I watch video it is hard to see sometimes. Any hints for a 40 yr old beginner would be appreciated.
[..YouTube..] I listen to the song and to the lyrics, from a phonetic stand point to take my cue. I figure out a generic strummin gpattern from there, and then I let the song dictate it as I play… it’s a hard concept at first, but it comes to ya after a while
[..YouTube..] My favourite guitar teacher !
hey Mojo that’s again the little basque that already left you a comment for the more than words lesson. You’ve been lazy again ? I’d like to see your acoustic guitar ^^
Anyway, first time i’ve heard this music it was played in song from Mago de Oz, called pensando en ti. Always wanted to know the original song and know how to play it. Thanx to you it’s done.
Thanks ! Milesker ! like i’d say at home.
[..YouTube..] Well, I have been working a lot of hours lately… so I guess I have been lazy in terms of videos, although I did add three new ones last week
[..YouTube..] Well, I have been working a lot of hours lately… so I guess I have been lazy in terms of videos, although I did add three new ones last week
[..YouTube..] i was talking ’bout the fact you’re playing an acoustic song on your tele. where’s your folk guitar man ? Upstair, like last time for “more than words” ?
Anyway it’s good job you do, I like your vids.
by the way your site is good too ! And I like your guitar collection ! Shame there isn’t a steinberger like the one I got though… Thanx for the vids !
[..YouTube..] Ha ha What can I say, I am a Tele guy! I don’t play a lot of acoustic guitar. I have a couple, but they see about 5% of all my playing time. Combined.
[..YouTube..] so the picking for this is the same as wonderful tonight? also i just have to say that u are probably the best teacher i have ever seen,,,even though ive only seen a few on youtube,, i just started playing guitar and thank god i came across your videos.
thanks a million!!
[..YouTube..] gr8 vid man
but sorry ididnt get anything out of it
6th string is the low E first and the fingers are not in their correct picking positions either so its so much confusing for me..
[..YouTube..] It’s not often I am attracted to basic Guitar and Vocals. Most people who attempt it, aren’t very good. But I literally stopped blinking and just was in awe like stare listening to you.
[..YouTube..] Once again, you have made learning very easy and are an awesome teacher! Thanks man for your care and compassion for the music! Peace my friend!
[..YouTube..] Wonderful! Nice style, calm approach, friendly demeanor, coupled with clearly presented material and excellent instructions as well as examples. Got a lot out of this as I try to learn this song. Very well done. Thank you so much.
[..YouTube..] just to let everyone know, the part where he sings “only for a moment” you dont stay on a G chord, right when he sings MOMENT you play a D minor then go to the A minor. that will song much better.
[..YouTube..] Some people use C, Csund, and C2, (not neccesarily in that order) and A minor, Asus, A2, instead of a G chord, but this sounds just as good.
[..YouTube..] your awesome…i getting the tune down well. i have beginer guitar skills…my big issue is getting the strumming down…but your a great guy keep up the good work
[..YouTube..] wat about an acoustic lesson on some song your great on electric i cant use a pik either learn on my own nobody their to correct me so shit man no pik
[..YouTube..] @SkillasOwn
Yeah, man! Fuck you! This guy is awesome. Intolerant jerk! Mojo, you are teaching me so much! I am not taking lessons, and you have taught me so much!
Thank you!
[..YouTube..] I think your video is great, but I’m not sure I have the picking pattern correct. I can’t seem to get it quite right, it doesn’t sound like yours. I have (listing strings “picked” only), 2,5,4,6 then 1,5,4,6 then there is an addtion that you show and I thought it was 6,5,4,6, played after I completed the 2 I just listed (above) Can you list it out for me. Thanks!

[..YouTube..] I dont really know what to do with the fingerpicking after the C, G and Am part. you’re supposed to pick a G twice and then an Am?
[..YouTube..] I don’t play guitar, but I just picked up an old acoustic, ran a mic into my computer to tune it in (I do play computers heh), found this tutorial - which is far better than all the others, now after about an hour I can play the verse’s (slow) love it, great work, can’t wait to get the whole thing nailed
